It’s that time of the year again to initiate a burn in our wetland/prairie area west of the baptism turf area. On Wednesday 5/14/2014 beginning approx. 10:30a the Applied Ecological Services team will start the burn which will continue throughout the day ending around 6-7p. Please be prepared for the smell of smoke and don’t be alarmed if you see some fairly large areas of fire especially in the wetland. This is a controlled burn and the Applied Ecological team will manage the fire. Although the weather has been inconsistent, Wednesday looks like conditions will be good to burn. Should we be unable to proceed you will be given notice. Thank you.
