This week marked the launch of the new Midweek Experience. Almost 1000 people filled the Lakeside Auditorium for a night filled with worship and in depth teaching. Brandon Grissom (and band including Wendy Farmer, Shane’s wife) started the evening and set the tone for a deep dive in the first 15 verses of Mark 1. We are trying several new things this Fall on a technology side that will hopefully encourage people to engage more regularly in the Bible and teaching. The Midweek Experience teaching will soon be available via podcast for those who would like to sign up and have the message delivered to them each week. We are also “live tweeting” during the message and encouraging others to enter into conversation and discussion around what they are learning (Follow @WillowCreekCC to join the conversation).
There is also a book study by NT Wright available in Seeds at a reduced rate for those interested in engaging in a personal or group study.
Our hope is that word will get out that Wednesday nights are a can’t miss event for those serious about engaging with the Bible. Thanks to all of you who showed up to support us and keep spreading the word to your volunteers about the new Midweek Experience!
